​We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Tax Accountant to support global tax reporting, compliance, and forecasting activities across multiple jurisdictions, including the US, UK, and Southeast Asia. This role plays a key part in group tax provision, indirect and employment tax compliance, transfer pricing, and tax technology integration. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced international environment.

What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

Group Tax Reporting, Forecasting & Compliance

  • Prepare quarterly and annual group tax provision templates with review support
  • Prepare UK and Jersey corporate tax returns
  • Prepare and/or review Return to Provision (RTP) templates for tax return submissions
  • Reconcile tax-related general ledger (GL) accounts quarterly and compile SOX checklists
  • Support development and maintenance of tax forecast models
  • Maintain the tax compliance calendar and KPI reporting
  • Track US GAAP to local GAAP differences (temporary/permanent)

Transfer Pricing & Intercompany

  • Prepare transfer pricing adjustments and support reviews
  • Review brand-controlled transfer pricing templates
  • Reconcile GL accounts and trial balances quarterly, with SOX documentation
  • Maintain transfer pricing agreement tracker and intranet guidance
  • Obtain benchmarking analysis from third-party tools
  • Request tax residency certificates and prepare US tax forms (W-9, W-8BEN, W-8BENE)
  • Support withholding tax compliance activities

Employment Tax Compliance

  • Assist Payroll with UK employment tax filings:
  • PAYE Settlement Agreements (employee expense analysis)
  • Short-Term Business Visitors (tracking and reporting)
  • Employment Related Securities returns (equity transactions)
  • Support UK non-resident director tax compliance

Indirect Tax Compliance

  • Prepare and submit UK VAT returns with P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare and submit Canadian GST/HST returns
  • Review US Sales & Use tax returns and perform related reconciliations
  • Monitor VAT compliance in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam

Operational Tax Compliance (Potential)

  • Support US Secretary of State compliance (e.g., franchise taxes)
  • Assist with customs duty queries and related compliance (with third-party support)

General & Administrative

  • Set up and maintain purchase orders for third-party tax vendors
  • Identify and document tax risks and controls
  • Contribute to the development of tax policy documentation and process improvements
  • Maintain tax documentation, trackers, and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com)
  • Support maintenance of the internal Tax intranet homepage


Who are we looking for?

  • 2+ years of tax accounting experience, preferably with exposure to international tax
  • Hands-on experience with GL account reconciliation and trial balance reviews
  • Experience working with US clients and familiarity with US GAAP vs local GAAP
  • Strong understanding of US Sales Taxes and UK VAT compliance
  • Exposure to tax regimes in Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam)
  • ERP experience (Oracle, SAP B1, Essbase) and tax software proficiency (Avalara, Xero, Thomson Reuters Onesource)
  • Project coordination using tools like Monday.com
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • A go-getter attitude and eagerness to contribute to process improvements and policy development
  • Bonus: Experience with data analytics or automation tools such as Alteryx
