What is your mission?

• Support implementation and configuration of Bloomreach Engagement, including data flows, event tracking, campaign enablement, and integrations
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build scalable systems supporting customer engagement, data processing, and integration workflows
• Implement customer and event data integrations, ensuring accurate and real-time data flow
• Develop and maintain REST APIs, webhooks, and system integrations across enterprise systems
• Configure and support data exports and integrations to external platforms, including CRMs, data warehouses, and storage systems
• Work with cloud platforms and data systems, including storage, databases, and pipeline tools
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and reliability across all integrations
• Collaborate with technical teams, marketing stakeholders, and analytics teams to align platform capabilities
• Support testing, debugging, deployment, and production issue resolution
• Contribute to continuous improvement of backend systems, integration processes, and data workflows

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in backend software development roles
• Strong hands‑on experience in Java development, including the Spring Boot framework
• Experience building and supporting RESTful APIs, webhooks, and system integrations
• Experience implementing or integrating customer data platforms, including Bloomreach Engagement, Exponea, or similar CDPs
• Strong understanding of customer data models, including profiles, event tracking, segmentation, and automation workflows
• Experience working with data formats and databases, including JSON, CSV, SQL, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, testing practices, and production support workflows
• Familiarity with cloud environments, including GCP, AWS, Azure, or similar platforms
• Experience working with data pipelines and integration tools, considered an advantage
• Exposure to platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Adobe Experience Platform, Klaviyo, or similar tools, considered an advantage
• Experience with containerization and cloud-native tools, including Docker or Kubernetes, considered an advantage
• Experience in eCommerce, retail, or customer lifecycle marketing environments, considered an advantage
• Familiarity with privacy, consent management, and data governance concepts, considered an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, integration-heavy environment
