We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior General Ledger (GL) Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing the monthly close process, ensuring the accuracy of inventory valuation, supporting general accounting functions, and maintaining compliance with GAAP standards. Reporting directly to the CFO, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of GL experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills are essential, while CPA certification and manufacturing industry experience are considered strong assets.

What is your mission?

You will provide the best service to our partner client by performing these tasks:

  • Assist with the monthly close process to meet internal and external deadlines.

  • Ensure accuracy in inventory valuations and cost accounting.

  • Support full-cycle accounting processes, including A/R, A/P, and general ledger functions.

  • Provide a monthly review of all transactions, with a focus on inventory and subaccounts.

  • Participate in month-end close activities and related financial reporting.

  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial statements.

  • Assist with financial audits and tax-related tasks.

  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.

  • Maintain and update inventory tracking spreadsheets.

  • Support process improvement initiatives, including the automation of accounting procedures.

  • Apply strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and timeliness in all responsibilities.

Who are we looking for?

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior GL Accountant.

  • Proficiency in GAAP principles and standards.

  • Proven experience in reviewing monthly transactions.

  • Strong background in preparing and posting journal entries.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems.

  • Ability to manage and execute ad hoc tasks efficiently.

  • Advanced skills in Excel, including complex functions and data analysis.
