We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Credit Control Officer to manage and optimize our credit control operations. The successful candidate will oversee the collection of receivables, support junior credit controllers, and maintain accurate financial records. This role requires excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues and ensure timely payments.

What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Manage the full credit control process, working with internal teams and customers to collect current and historic receivables.

  • Support and guide junior credit controllers in customer follow-ups using established templates and processes.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer communications regarding outstanding payments.

  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Handle customer onboarding processes such as supplier portal setup and provision of tax documentation.

  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly reports on outstanding debts and collection performance.

  • Provide regular updates and escalate significant debt concerns to management as needed.

  • Support audit processes by responding to documentation and reporting requests.

  • Lead a small credit control team with regular one-on-one meetings and performance feedback.

  • Ensure continuous improvements in collection processes and customer engagement.


Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum 3–4 years of proven experience in credit control, including experience in chasing clients for payment.

  • Management experience with the ability to lead and mentor team members effectively.

  • Experience using financial systems and handling multi-currency accounts; SAP B1 experience is a strong advantage.

  • Basic understanding of account reconciliation and financial reporting.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, via email and telephone.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle competing priorities.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word; strong overall IT and finance system literacy.
