We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Payable with a strong background in construction-related payables. In this role, you will manage full-cycle AP operations including job cost coding, compliance, vendor management, and process improvement—playing a key role in financial accuracy and project success.​

What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Handle the full-cycle Accounts Payable process with focus on construction-related expenses

  • Perform 3-way matching and ensure accurate job cost coding and documentation

  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with lien waivers, W-9s, and insurance certificates

  • Monitor and comply with state/local lien laws and contract terms

  • Coordinate with project managers to resolve invoice discrepancies and approvals

  • Process payments via Bill.com, ACH, and manage retainage schedules

  • Maintain AP aging reports and foster strong vendor/subcontractor relationships

  • Reconcile AP accounts and assist with job cost reports for month-end close

  • Prepare recurring reports: cash flow, aging, and AP metrics/KPIs

  • Support audits by preparing required documentation

  • Follow company policies, internal controls, and regulatory standards

  • Implement AP process improvements and system enhancements

  • Track purchase discount opportunities and maintain documentation practices

  • Ensure sales tax compliance and assist with timely payments


Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience

  • 3–5 years of AP experience, ideally in construction or real estate development

  • Strong knowledge of job cost coding and documentation

  • Experience with subcontractor/vendor management and compliance

  • Familiarity with GAAP, 1099 reporting, and sales/use tax on materials

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Bill, Buildertrend, Sage 300 CRE – a plus

  • Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) – a strong advantage

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent coordination skills
