We are looking for a talented and experienced Project Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong creative abilities, a solid background in multifamily design, and expertise in producing high-quality construction documents using Revit/BIM systems. You will work closely with the design and technical teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, while maintaining compliance with applicable codes and standards.​

What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

Operational Tasks:

  • Discuss building and zoning code issues with the project team, especially concerning “grey” areas in the code, as directed by the supervisor.

  • Bring new ideas, research findings, and creative details to design meetings and team discussions.

  • Develop and deliver presentations to the internal design team and third-party consultants.

  • Produce high-quality Construction Documents using Revit/BIM, exploring additional system capabilities to enhance workflow.

  • Manage access to original architectural drawings and files.

  • Ensure construction drawings are developed based on approved site plans, floor plans, and in accordance with project schedules and codes.

  • Coordinate preliminary site plans with senior architects, ensuring compliance with jurisdictional development standards.

  • Review grading and drainage plans for compliance with established requirements.

  • Attend and participate in weekly RFI and Coordination Meetings.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide project support while developing a thorough understanding of company standards and procedures.

  • Assist in site observations during construction and help prepare conformance reports.

  • Submit weekly status reports to the Supervisor.

  • Respond promptly to RFI’s, submittals, and change orders.

Communication & Coordination:

  • Coordinate with outside consultants, local architects, building departments, fire departments, engineers, and surveyors.

  • Serve as the main contact for external consultants as directed by the supervisor.

Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor the performance of outside consultants to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.

  • Ensure compliance with all ADA requirements alongside senior technical staff.

  • Assist with quality control plan reviews.

  • Review consultants' drawings for accuracy prior to submission or distribution.

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Other:

  • Promote teamwork within the office and with outside consultants.

  • Represent the company professionally at all times.

  • Maintain punctuality, manage schedules effectively, and meet all project deadlines.


Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field required.

  • Minimum of 7+ years of architectural experience.

  • At least 4 years of multifamily design experience required.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Revit (educational experience can be included).
