The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of core trades (sitework, structural concrete, framing, MEP, finishes) and excels in cross-functional collaboration. What is your mission?

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Attend and support initial client meetings to understand project scope.

  • Drive and support project design and coordination with design consultants during the permitting phase.

  • Thoroughly review construction documents and analyze specifications to compile subcontractor bid packages.

  • Perform quantity survey takeoffs using Bluebeam, Procore, and other relevant software tools.

  • Develop pricing and compile full construction estimates across various design stages (Conceptual, SD, DD, CD) following CSI divisions.

  • Source and evaluate bids from design consultants and local subcontractors for cost, performance, and quality.

  • Manage multiple preconstruction projects simultaneously.

  • Maintain document control throughout all preconstruction phases.

  • Create and distribute meeting minutes for preconstruction meetings.

  • Prepare cost history and system comparisons using standardized phase codes.

  • Support project buyout by developing Procurement Status Reports.

  • Assist in the development and management of project schedules during the preconstruction phase.

  • Identify and log project risks and opportunities.

  • Conduct risk analysis related to construction scope and schedule.

  • Collaborate with the Preconstruction Manager and Operations Group to support project proposal development.

  • Execute subcontractor selection and contracting processes.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local codes and regulations.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and technologies.

  • Assist in the annual planning and development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

  • At least 2 years of experience as a General Contractor with hands-on involvement in estimating commercial construction projects.

  • Proven leadership skills demonstrated through successful project or team management.

  • Ability to work independently with creativity and minimal supervision, while open to mentorship.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Smartsheets, and Google Suite.

  • Experience in managing people or leading teams effectively.
