We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team and drive efficient revenue cycle operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in medical billing, insurance claims management, and patient account coordination. This position is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of billing activities, ensuring accurate collections, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.

What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Monitor and set weekly production and collection targets to meet organizational goals; analyze trends with insurance carriers to improve performance.

  • Enforce over-the-counter (OTC) collection policies and ensure effective post-discharge financial procedures.

  • Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) to keep 90-day collectibles under 15% of total outstanding, excluding litigation cases.

  • Communicate legal responsibilities and billing policies clearly and professionally to patients.

  • Execute timely and accurate billing processes using structured communication systems.

  • Prepare and present monthly trend reports to executive leadership, including the CEO, and contribute insights for improving collections.

  • Perform daily claims management, including claim entry, corrections, and timely follow-ups.

  • Oversee patient statement distribution, collections, and daily posting and reconciliation of clinic batches.

  • Manage denial codes, process payments and refunds, and ensure accuracy of new patient accounts.

  • Submit electronic claims efficiently and resolve rejections quickly.

  • Investigate unbillable claims and provide feedback to reduce future denials.

  • Alert supervisor regarding any paper claims requiring intervention or mailing.


Who are we looking for?

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
  • Solid understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient data privacy standards.
  • Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
