We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator with strong expertise in SQL Server 2016 and above and Azure Data Factory to join our growing technology team. This role is crucial in ensuring the performance, security, and availability of our databases, both on-premises and in the cloud. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing and optimizing complex database environments.

What is your mission?

You will provide the best service to our partner client by performing these tasks:

  • Administer and support Windows SQL Server 2016 and above, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery planning.

  • Perform routine database maintenance (backups, index maintenance, consistency checks) using native SQL Server tools.

  • Design and implement database schemasstored procedures, and other objects with a focus on performance optimization.

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices in database design and technology usage.

  • Monitor database systems to ensure security, uptime, and performance, and assist in refining data models and structures.

  • Automate routine DBA tasks to improve efficiency and system reliability.

  • Implement, manage, and monitor Azure Data Factory pipelines to ensure availability, performance, and data security.

  • Stay up to date with Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse developments and apply best practices to optimize scalability and performance.


Who are we looking for?

  • At least 3–5 years of experience as a Database Administrator.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows SQL Server 2016 and above.

  • Proficient in handling incident and service requests related to database systems.

  • Solid understanding of database architecture, design principles, and optimization techniques.

  • Experience in managing and monitoring Azure Data Factory pipelines.

  • Experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse Administration.

  • Familiarity with database migration from on-premises to Azure cloud.

  • Knowledge of Business Central database structure and admin tasks (adding objects, attributes, data updates).

  • Awareness of MS Fabric EDW and other cloud-based data platforms.

  • Exposure to other database technologies or cloud platforms is a plus.

  • Relevant certifications such as:

    • Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900)

    • Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300)

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Willing to start ASAP.
