We are seeking an Accounting Associate to manage accounts payable, receivables, and financial transactions. This role involves maintaining accurate records, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and resolving discrepancies. The Accounting Associate will also handle vendor management in Sage and provide support to internal teams. As a backup to senior staff, the position plays a key role in ensuring smooth accounting operations with attention to detail and organizational skills.

What is your mission?

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Performs administrative accounting functions including statistical clerical work.
  • Applies bookkeeping principles to central accounting.
  • Maintains files for accounting department.
  • Handles accounts payable invoices.
  • Administers vendor tables in Sage.
  • Administers miscellaneous accounts receivable invoices.
  • Completes accounting in accordance with established standards.
  • Verifies balances or adjusts accounts.
  • Corrects fiscal discrepancies. 
  • Reviews and processes routine financial documents such as invoices, receipts, vouchers, statements and reports.
  • Ensures accuracy of mathematical computations.
  • Research discrepancies on payments and coordinate adjustments as appropriate.
  • First tier support to internal customers for responsible areas.
  • Acts as back-up for Seniors within the department (this includes cross-divisional support).
  • Provide general administrative coordination and support as needed.


Who are we looking for?

  • At least 1 year of experience in accounting, focusing on Accounts Payable.
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping/accounting procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a proven track record.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively deal with ambiguity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to compose and edit correspondence.
  • Superior attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
