This teammate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial operations of Lifepharm, and will be responsible for analyzing Lifepharm’s financial data to provide value and drive growth for the company.

What is your mission?

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Optimize output of financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems and ensure that these systems can run autonomously with minimal amount of deviation
  • Have appropriate internal controls and checks and balances in place to ensure the security of these financial systems
  • Prepare and analyze the monthly financials of the company; use comparative and trend analysis to guide the company on its business strategy and decision making in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all intercompany transactions and entities are accurately reconciled and consolidated
  • Oversee the entire supply chain cycle of the company and analyze optimal inventory/purchasing levels based on forecasted demand
  • Prepare and analyze the budget and cash flow forecasts of the company; analyze these reports to ensure that there are minimal variances 
  • Provide treasury management of all intercompany bank accounts and optimize the return of company’s cash assets
  • Analyze product margins and operating margins to ensure that company targets are being met and that the company is operating in its most efficient manner financially
  • Analyze company’s financial / sales metrics and commission incentives, and leverage that data to ensure that the right metrics are being used and the right commission incentives are in play for the company to meet its targets
  • Compare these financial ratios against industry peers to ensure that the company is staying ahead of the curve
  • Be a mentor and resource for the Accounting/Finance Department, provide career development path and incentive measures to spur growth within the department
  • Provide financial analysis/ scenario modeling as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions and contract negotiations

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting/ Finance or related area of study
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience as a manager preferably in the consumer goods or direct selling space
  • Must have experience in overseeing and mentoring a team 
  • Strong Excel technical skills that can help automate financial processes
  • Highly efficient in database management applications like SQL
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • In depth know how of inventory accounting and supply chain management
  • Proficient in US GAAP 
  • Must be able to mentor teams and have a high EQ; Must be extremely coachable
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise and other complementary financial applications
