What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

Financial Management, Close, & Analysis

• Prepare consolidated monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements across multiple entities
• Lead and optimize the full accounting close cycle; shorten timelines through automation
• Analyze revenues, costs, margins, and overhead using data analytics tools
• Automate variance analysis and narrative reporting using AI/LLM tools
• Manage journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, allocations, and COA structure

Budgeting, Forecasting & Strategic Planning

• Lead annual budget development and multi-year financial planning
• Use AI-driven forecasting and scenario modeling to improve accuracy
• Provide automated variance analysis with strategic insights for leadership
• Monitor cash flow and implement automated cash forecasting tools

Institutional Reporting & Fund Oversight

• Oversee fund accounting, capital calls, distributions, and waterfalls
• Produce institutional investor and lender reporting packages
• Build automated reporting pipelines and templates for audit-ready output
• Coordinate audits with external auditors and administrators

Treasury & Cash Management

• Manage banking relationships, liquidity planning, and cash forecasting
• Implement automated cash management, reconciliation, and covenant monitoring
• Optimize cash utilization and financing strategies

Internal Controls, Governance & Compliance

• Develop and maintain internal controls, including continuous control monitoring
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements
• Lead audit readiness, documentation, and process governance
• Enforce segregation of duties through system workflows and automation

Systems, Technology & Automation Leadership

• Lead a full process audit and design automation strategies across finance
• Implement LLM/AI-powered tools (invoice recognition, three-way match, predictive analytics, etc.)
• Optimize ERP and reporting systems such as Sage Intacct, Yardi, and BI platforms
• Build system integrations, data pipelines, and process documentation
• Drive a technology-first accounting culture across the team

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting and finance team
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical curiosity
• Provide training on complex accounting topics and technology tools

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, ideally handling multi-entity environments
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and consolidated reporting
• Proficiency with Sage Intacct and Yardi (or similar ERP systems)
• Advanced Excel skills: reconciliations, pivot tables, financial schedules
• Strong understanding of month-end close, intercompany accounting, allocations, consolidations, and audit preparation
• Experience with process automation, system integrations, or AI/LLM tools in finance (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage several entities and workstreams
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with executives and cross-functional teams
